Very good original paint and structural condition. Small blemish to drake's center back. Hen carved in a sleeping position with painted ticking to neck and head. Both with raised wing detail. Detailed painted feather work to backs. Notation on bottoms in black marker: "MALLARD MALE/FEMALE, "1969", HOLLOW PINE." Signed by Charles R. Birdsall. Retains crisp Wildfowler ink stamps. 15" long. SOLD ONLY AS A PAIR.
