Professional diver Frank Huyghe created RALF TECH in 1996 but it wasn’t ‘til 2003 that he became obsessed with building dive watches. And his obsession evolved into a very specific goal: to build a watch that could match the extraordinary performance of the world’s deepest scuba diver and accompany him in his quest to reach a world record depth. And on July 5, 2005, Pascal Bernabé, wearing the Ralf Tech WR1 set the new world record, reaching a depth of 1,083 feet (330m) off the cost of Propriano, Corsica, France in the Mediterranean Sea.
