There’s something about a jack knife. Why do we love them so much and why do we always say yes to having just one more? I mean, how many does one person need? Lean back in your chair my dear unenlightened mates, as need has no place in this discussion. Passion and desire destroy what could otherwise be a reasonable explanation.

Forgiven you’ll be and condolences you’ll earn if you were never given a jack knife when you were still knee high to a duck. And of course, you were unsure of its ability to actually cut things, so you tested it on your finger. Yep, it cuts and the finger bleeds. I did that. And my wife won’t go adventuring without the one her father gave her when she was about 14.
