Story
A Bayman’s work on land is as varied and tough as it is out in the bay. Specially in the fall and winter when the confluence of mottled chores makes the day interesting. Something on the boat always needs fixin…there’s always some variety of shellfish that needs processing, fish in the box don’t filet themselves and those blocks of Jersey Cedar need some masterful carvin’ before they are transformed into hollow-body decoys.
Uncle Jack Scheimreif is not only the patriarch of the Atlantic Rancher Company family, he’s also the poster boy for the authentic, New Jersey Bayman. In his lifetime, he’s shucked more clams, oysters, and bay scallops than most can claim. What most don’t know is that to steady up his livelihood, for many years he was also the head butcher at the Acme, in Beach Haven, NJ, where Beals/Murphys is today.
Uncle Jack didn’t always wear an apron…but when he did, this is the one he wore.

Shipping
We don’t use a 3rd. fulfillment house to process your order. We pick, pack and ship all orders ourselves from our own warehouse. If we receive your order by 12pm PST, we usually ship it to you that day. Otherwise it will ship on the following business day.
Returns & Refunds
If you aren’t happy with what you’ve purchased from Atlantic Rancher, you may return it to us in like-new condition within 30-days of purchase and we’ll process a refund for the full purchase price of the item(s) being returned.
Returns after the normal 30-day window are for store credit only.
