Purple Rain!

Hoodie was bought primarily to be a layer for winter, but have been using it for beginning of fall weather in Philly. Since it's been 50s-60s in the morning on my way to work it's been great. I work close to the river so it can feel pretty windy and it has felt great so far. I chose it for the color too, purple is my favorite color and had never seen such a perfect version of it on a hoodie. They're usually too bright or just a different shade entirely. I also had never owned a heavyweight hoodie before so this was a step up for sure and was worried I may have spent too much. So far it's been a great purchase and with the feel it of it I know it will serve as a great layer come winter time. I've used it a handful of times already, so it's definitely gonna have to be a workhorse the rest of this cold season.

MADE TO LAST!

I absolutely love my shipyard pants from Atlantic Rancher! They’ve quickly become one of my favorite pairs for so many reasons. They are incredibly flexible and comfortable, making them easy to move around in while the deep pockets give me plenty of room without worrying about losing things. I especially appreciate the double thickness knees which provide a little extra padding and durability when you’re working or spending time outdoors. And the reinforced crotch area is an awesome bonus – it adds even more durability, right where you need it most. These pants are clearly built with comfort, functionality, and durability in mind. Whether you’re working hard or just need a reliable pair of pants that can keep up with you, the shipyard pants deliver. Highly recommend!

A tough outer shell that you didn’t know you needed

I have had this shirt-jacket for about three months, and I like to spend time with my gear before writing a review. This is another excellent piece of gear from Atlantic Rancher. The shirt-jacket has improved with wear. It has broken in and now feels more comfortable than it did when it first arrived. As I expected, since I have several other things from AR, it is very well made. When I took it out of the packaging, there were no loose threads or misaligned stitches. The double stitching throughout is noted on the site, but it is a detail worth emphasizing. My wife is the seamstress, so I may not have the terminology exactly right, but the pockets are seam-bound, with twill tape fabric inside to help prevent the tops from unraveling. On the sleeve the adjustable cuffs have two positions, which is especially useful when wearing work gloves.
The details are what keep drawing me back to AR gear: deep pockets for everything you did not realize you needed to carry, shoulder gussets for easier movement, and a layered rear vent that allows airflow without feeling exposed.
Lastly, the shirt-jacket simply looks good. I get compliments when I wear it. It is built as a workhorse piece of gear, but it also works well as a casual jacket for the office on days when a heavier coat would be too much. I also appreciate that it does not have a hood, since I have other jackets for days when I know I will be out in the rain for long periods.

Amazing fit and built for work

I love these pants. Can totally wear them to a gathering and on the job site. I can meet with clients and jump in the excavator or trench looking good in both. Comfortable!! I wish they had a zipper though….would be easier….
