I have already have 3 of the Hudson 1/4 zips and 1 of the zip up Hudsons and love them; but it was finally time to get the Hoodie version. As expected, a well executed heavy weight hooded sweatshirt! This reminds me of the really old school hoodies from my youth that I remember wearing till they fell apart after years. The kind of hoodies that you had to keep an eye on or someone would make off with it if you weren't paying attention. The kind of hoodie that your best girl would always be reaching for when they were chilly.
Perfectly layering piece for wearing under my Outlaw Bomber and Boatyard jackets, over a t-shirt, when the weather calls for a good hood for blocking the wind.

Loved mine so much that I’m spending a fortune to buy a replacement. Tossed it in my washing machine and it came out small enough to fit a toddler.
Living in sunny Florida, relaxing by the pool or beach 300 days a year means you don't need more than one sweater. But sometimes on colder days you want to go look for manatees so it better be warm and not gray so you don't get mistaken for one. The 30th Anniversary Maine Lobster Sweater is the one I wear now and I've challenged every fiber of its construction. The XXL was the only option left but is perfect with my 5'10", 230lb frame. I like a roomier fit and this gives it to me. It is piping hot when I step out on the observation deck to spot manatees and fashionable when sitting in tiki bars nursing margaritas. I've owned a lot of wool sweaters and the others don't even deserve to share a closet with it. The deep navy palette punctuated by crimson accents and transfer stitching is a visual masterwork. The compliments I receive on this sweater are frankly unprecedented - I've become a walking conversation starter. People stop me on the street to discuss this sweater and I'm basically a minor celebrity in wool circles now. Thank you Atlantic Rancher.

I purchased a Hudson Canyon 1/4 zip in Plum and was very impressed with the overall quality of the sweatshirt. The color was exactly what I was expecting and the fit was perfect. I'm confident I will have this sweatshirt for many years and look forward to trying to wear it out!
Not hyperbole when I say the cut/fit is game changing (as a 6’8” 240 lb man). Replacing all my American Giant, Flint & Tinder, + Madewell hoodies/sweatshirts with Atlantic Rancher.
I purchased this for my husband for Valentine’s Day and asked him what he’d say for a review. “Feels like getting a hug from Bigfoot.” He’s obsessed with the thickness of the material and feels his best while wearing it. I’ll get him a hooded sweatshirt next. I would love to see some different colors soon!
