I love this company. Super quality products with close personal customer service makes me return to buy products again and again. I use their sweaters, chamois, shirts and pants fishing on Montana cold rivers. These products are better than you expect. Customer service harkens back to old school interactions that make you feel like your part of their little family. Hard to pull off. I love them.

I saw someone wearing the boatyard shirt jack in a bar, loved how it looked and bought one that night. They run a bit big so I exchanged my item for a size down. Anna helped me with the exchange and was very responsive. I love how the shirt fits and looks, my favorite part is i can tell it’ll last me the rest of my life.

I purchased both the white and blue. The only debate was on size. I'm between L-XL so it was a bit of a coin flip. I went with XL. Right call. The shirts are great, fit perfectly. They don't bind at chest/shoulders but they aren't baggy. These are four season shirts for me.

Received my first Captain’s Shirt as a gift last summer. After the winter yielded, and wore it for the first time this spring, I remembered how awesome the first shirt felt and looked. Received lots of compliments. Ordered two more, a couple other colors right away. The Captain’s Shirt is no longer a novelty for me. It has now become the standard for looking right for any occasion. Excellent quality and appearance. Fits like a shirt for a made-in-America man too—enough room in the arms, a little give in the middle. It wears as nice as it looks!

These shirts are great! They look great, are ultra light and extremely breathable. They seem well constructed and i expect them to last for some time!

This is my second sweater from The Atlantic Rancher Company, and it’s a bit more traditional than the Ranger Uniform sweater. I really appreciate the difference! It’s a rugged, comfortable, and beautiful sweater. What I especially love are the two different stitch patterns, which make it such a unique piece. The blue Donegal yarn is gorgeous; I especially like the little bits of red, light blue, and almost white—they add character and make each sweater special. I haven’t worn it directly without an undershot, but it’s incredibly soft, and I think I could if I wanted to. I’ve worn it to work and gotten lots of compliments, but since it’s May in Virginia, it’ll probably stay inside for when the A/C is working too well.

Absolutely love these Chamois shirt jacs, you really can't get the sense for what these are like until you have one in your hands. They are so stiff and thick and warm, they keep the wind out much better than most shirts. Much stiffer material than any other shirt I've ever had. These are very versatile, I've worn these as a third layer outdoors (t shirt, thinner button down, this shirt on top), it's warm enough to almost function as a light jacket on a slightly chilly day. I've also worn it indoors as a second layer directly over a t shirt, functioning more as a regular shirt. A bonus feature of these is that being so stiff, if you're out of shape they actually make you have a better profile/shape by hiding any unflattering features of your body shape that thinner shirts might reveal (kind of the same concept as shoulder pads in a suit.) I've bought 3 of these already and will be buying a couple more, probably my favorite shirt I've ever owned.

The older I get, the more I look for quality and craftsmanship. These pants are the next level and it is obvious, that Engle strives to produce and offer this product I am describing. Great lighter weight option for spring and fall. Nicely tailored for a close, trim fit with a thoughtful dropped tail design. The canvas helps block the wind and also builds in more functional pockets than you typically see on a fleece.

Just received this shirt. Tried it on and I have to say that it is the most comfortable shirt I have ever purchased. I feels great!
A note on sizing: this shirt is true to the size and fit that is shown so I ordered a M and it is fine. This is mostly a summer shirt so I won’t be doing much layering with it. If I was ordering a Boatyard shirt or a Baymen’s Clamdigger shirt I would definitely size up because those shirts are meant for layering.

Guess there is a heritage with these sock makers for a reason. Super high quality - cushioned and warm - like a blanket for your piggies!

I purchased this sweater primarily for early and late season back country camping trips in the BWCA in Minnesota when the temperatures can vary widely and frequently get below freezing at night.

The sweater feels well built, soft, and very warm. The shoulder gussets are nice touch and it allows a full range of arm motion without feeling restricted while paddling, fishing, or shoveling snow.

So far I’m very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend this to others that are interested.

I have many vests that I wear when the weather gets cool. I can’t help it, I like vests. I have suede vests, cashmere vests, wool vests, alpaca vests. I have vests from Ralph Lauren, Peter Millar, and others. But the warmest vest I own is from Atlantic Rancher. It also looks great. You can’t beat that. The fit is true to size as are the compliments I receive when wearing it. It comes in three colors. I chose the rust (brown) one. Extremely pleased with my choice. If you’re looking for a classy vest that not only looks great but also keeps you warm, well then, I highly recommend the Atlantic Rancher Co. Longliner’s wool vest. You won’t be disappointed.
