Arrived last week and wore to work today. Showed up at sunrise to begin my 14 hour day on the Great Lakes freighter “Superior Wench” and had several compliments from my maritime worn crew. Kidding, work in an office/studio but did have a few comments. Great looking, well made as you’d expect from AR and that zippered pocket is perfect for my phone. A full 5 stars.

Wonderful Warm Quality Build
I just got my Maine Lobstermen's Sweater. It’s a thick 100% wool very well made sweater that has the Maine Fishing look. It fits perfectly and is warm. With several washes I’m hoping it will have a softer feel but with a short sleeved shirt I don’t notice the typical wool itch. I like the neck line and texturing they created. I live in a cold winter climate so I’m sure I’ll get many months of use per year. I really enjoy the workmanship put into it.

I bought this shirt for a purpose that was likely unintended. I own an international hunting consultancy and hunt worldwide. I needed a shirt with a tight enough weave to prevent Tsetse flies from biting through while hunting Cape Buffalo. This is it.

Great Summer Shirt!
The cotton & linen is great combo for warm weather, and the Sea Foam Green is a perfect color for wearing at the beach! Took this shirt with me on a weekend get away and wore it out with a pair of AR Dock Shorts for dinner & drinks while we were there. My wife loved the color and fit, always good when my girlfriend approves! Just like everything from AR, the fit and finish are great! Having a size chart that is both accurate and goes up to my size is very welcome. As always, the customer service is top notch, from Engle & Victoria and their entire team! A happy repeat customer once again!

Maybe the toughest, thickest shirt I've ever owned
I bought the AR Chamois shirt jac first before this and initially thought that was the thickest, warmest button down I'd ever owned. Then I bought the Boatyard shirt jac and I think this has taken over the title from the Chamois (as good as that one is as well). The Boatyard shirt jac is so unbelievable tough and thick, it's almost like wearing a canvas tarp (though way more comfortable than that). I can't imagine anything causing a significant rip/tear in this. It looks great as well. I bought this during the summer so haven't had a chance to wear it yet as it's way too much material for the summer heat, but I'm looking forward to wearing this out when it gets colder. Will buy a couple more colors as well.
I love my Hudson saturated 1/4 zip. It is well constructed with quality materials, fits perfectly and is very warm and comfortable. I will be buying more products from Atlantic Rancher.
I have purchased 2 sweater from Atlantic Rancher within the last year. It has been a pleasure to open each box and touch such fabulous sweaters. The sweaters are of a quality I found many years ago - reminding me of Ralph Lauren sweaters in the 1990’s - lush, thick and exceptionally well made.

Ordered this after seeing it on Instagram, just received mine yesterday, it is very high quality, nothing cheap about it. Fits true to size, I am 6'2" 210, XL fits perfectly. I already ordered a second one.
