We debuted our very first Captain’s Jacket on July 17, 1996, at the Viking/Ocean Marlin Tournament in Cape May, NJ. See photos below.
Just as the 30th Anniversary Captain’s Jacket that we are launching today, the original was built with our revolutionary DryHandle® 100% cotton Dry-Wax fabric.
Only 100, 30th Anniversary Captain’s Jacket were built in this limited-edition production run, and only 50 of them are available with the Tournament Patch. Each jacket is marked with a unique serial number identifier.

The Captain’s Jacket
During the halcyon days of big game fishing, this jacket was standard issue for every professional tournament boat captain on the East Coast. As soon as you graduated from the cockpit to the helm, you got one!
They weren’t much of a prize back in the day…performance wasn’t a thing yet, all that mattered was the look. It had to be a dark navy-blue color. With the broad collar turned up it made you look cool and feel part of an exclusive club…the cigarette was optional.

Shipping
We don’t use a 3rd. fulfillment house to process your order. We pick, pack and ship all orders ourselves from our own warehouse. If we receive your order by 12pm PST, we usually ship it to you that day. Otherwise it will ship on the following business day.
Returns & Refunds
If you aren’t happy with what you’ve purchased from Atlantic Rancher, you may return it to us in like-new condition within 30-days of purchase and we’ll process a refund for the full purchase price of the item(s) being returned.
Returns after the normal 30-day window are for store credit only.
