I received the vest a couple of weeks ago. While it has not been terribly cold here in northwestern WI in that period of time, I have had the opportunity to try it out on a couple of the chillier mornings. The fit is great given the side adjustments and the weight of the vest feels good to me - it is much heavier than a "puffer" vest. I think is going to be very nice in terms of layered outer wear as well.
I like vests and have multiple vests in the closet. This one is going to be one of my favorites.
Jacket arrived and L sizing was perfect, (6ft 3 200 lb). Quality and Styling is commented on frequently.
I have bought multiple items From Rancher, and have been very pleased with their products and service. This shirt is no exception. Very good as a heavier shirt, or lightweight jacket. Reliable product.
This garment is awesome. As a middle-aged man, I have been gradually steering away from low-quality low-cost garments, and transitioning my clothing to durable, higher-quality items that will last many years and that I am happy to wear. This fits the bill marvelously. I genuinely expect this will probably last me the rest of my life.
I've worn this a few times for several days so far, and I'm surprised at how durable this garment is. I love it. I have a few very good quality hoodies and sweatshirts from other small brands that I like a lot. But the quality of construction, the ruggedness of the material, and apparent toughness of the complete garment, is on another level with this Atlantic Rancher 1/4 zip. It's hard to describe but when you feel this in hand and wear it, there's an unmistakable toughness to this that is very impressive. The zipper, collar, seams, and cuffs/hems are especially great. Very happy with it.

“The Ranger Uniform Sweater is the one they’ll be fighting over once you’re gone.” Well I have 3 boys (now young men) so I left nothing to chance. Fave is on top in sand but cannot say enough about this sweater, fall, winter, early spring…..only problem is it’s so well made & warm that my Gunner jacket isn’t getting the wear. 🤷🏼
I thought long and hard about this purchase. To put it bluntly, it’s an expensive sweater. I purchased the Ranger’s uniform sweater about 18 months ago and it’s a remarkable piece. Warm, soft, so good looking that I salivated for the cardigan version for a long time. But…would I wear it, how would it fit etc… In the end I am so happy with this purchase. It looks amazing, it fits well, it’s soft, warm, and comfortable. My wife looks at me with envy when I wear it, which is frequently. Unfortunately it’s not available in small or I’d be buying her one as well. Here in Kentucky the weather is “changeable” and this sweater really works! Happy happy to have bought this sweater. Very worth the investment!

Love the weight and texture of this shirt! Have had it now since 11/23! I wear it "AGAIN?" according to my wife which means ALOT! I don't iron it and usually let it hang dry except for today it got lumped in with everything and still looks great! Not a snag, pile, or any issues....tough as nails!
I’ve been trying the right sweats that fit just right and this brand is the second one I’ve found d that fits like I want it too . The sweatshirt is top quality! I will buy the green soon with the sweatpants.
