Authentic Inteligence

I knew this day would eventually come…the day when artificial intelligence would creep so deeply into our everyday lives that it truly creeps us out. A day that would push us to draw the line and declare our independence from Artificial Intelligence and proclaim our allegiance to Authentic Intelligence.

While you may not realize it, you’ve undoubtedly been exposed to advertising on social media masquerading as a real product or a real brand, when in fact, not one image, not one headline or sentence, not one claim or proposition, was created by a human being.  Instead, the entire thing, including the website to which your click ultimately took you...is completely fake. There’s no there there. It’s an absolute distortion of reality created entirely from a thinly disguised massive heap of data, by inanimate objects void of form called “agents.”

For what it’s worth, and to us it’s worth a lot, at Atlantic Rancher we don’t use artificial intelligence to create any of our assets or to support any of our outbound communications. This includes social media advertising campaigns, our photography, our copy, all our emails, our website, customer live chats, etc. Yes, we do use automations to reply to customers when we can’t respond immediately, but those are placeholders created by us to let customers know their message was received. 

When you call me (206-919-0943) you get me, or a call back from me, from Victoria or from Anna. When you get a text or a voice message from us about your order or general questions you’ve asked, it comes from one of us…authentic human beings that love interacting with our customers and helping them get what they need.

When you receive your order, the personalized note on the packing slip is handwritten by Victoria, her every morning ritual that includes printing the day’s orders before Anna picks them up on her way to the shop to pick, pack and ship your order…no agents or 3^rd parties involved.

And when things don’t go as planned, because humans are involved, it’s one of us humans who calls you, emails, or texts you to make things right.

No, we are not living in a secluded, utopian bubble. Yes, we know that we can’t live in world insulated from Artificial Intelligence and its inescapable and growing impact on our lives. And yes, we intend to leverage AI to help us do what we do, not replace what we do.

Moreover, we have chosen to hold high the value of the human connection and to live a life with deep intention and purpose, integrity and authenticity. And that is our pledge to you and to ourselves…while fully deploying our unique and wonderfully precious, Authentic Intelligence.
