Very high quality and comfortable vest! Kept me warm walking around chilly Lake Placid, NY right after Christmas. Got many compliments on it too. All my buddies say they need one now. I wear to work, walking around town, or out on the trail. Very versatile.

I live on the Mendocino Coast in Northern California. We have a cool Mediterranean climate meaning all of our rain for the year comes in the winter and the temperature all year long is between 35 and 65 degrees. If you want or need to get outside during the winter months, you need to be comfortable with the rain. And if you do get out, it's nice to wear something that can manage the epic overgrowth of blackberry brambles and also keep you dry. I can put this jacket on and go for a three-hour hike in the redwoods or birding along the coast, and not worry about the rain. The lack of insulation in this jacket is ideal for our climate. I just add as much insulation underneath the jacket as I need for that day, and walk out the door. I used to carry a backpack for some food, coffee, gloves, field guides, etc when I would go on long day hikes. With the large and numerous pockets, I skip the backpack and just fill my pockets.

I held off on this review until I got caught in a proper sustained rain. During the annual Christmas Bird Count in our area, I spent several hours in steady rain with camera batteries and some food in my pockets, but my shirt, batteries, etc were bone dry when the sun finally came out. Is the coat waterproof? No. Is it weather resistant enough to handle several hours of blowing rain. Yes.

Before buying the coat, I seriously questioned whether the coat would be worth the cost. However, the tailoring, design details, durability and utility in all kinds of situations means that I now use it instead of the other 4 coats sitting in my closet.

I'm a small general contractor and I have no doubt this coat would handle the rigors of my work day, but frankly, the coat looks too good to be covered in caulk, paint drips, wood sap and concrete splatter. I'll keep my junk coat for work and use the Salt Farm Chore Coat for everything else.

I only write an online review every few years. But the Chore Coat is excellent and deserving of high praise. Thanks for a stellar product.

About a year ago I took a chance and bought pants from an instagram ad. Something I don’t normally do… Then, I bought a belt from the same company, figured how bad could it be? It’s my daily Belt. And will be for a long time!

It’s not unusual for the temperatures in Colorado to rise and fall like the waves during a big blow. Such was the case this last week. My Ranger Uniform Sweater performed flawlessly. With the mercury reading at -15 degrees my RUS kept me warm and dry as I cleared driveways in the neighborhood. The RUS is well constructed with a tight knit but is soft to the skin and itch free. Hands down this is the best sweater I have ever worn. I can’t wait to see what adventures we will share in the future. P.S. I have included a picture which a neighbor snapped halfway through the third driveway of the morning.

When I first opened the package, I knew immediately I found something special. The texture of the fabric is second to none, the design is unique and the room for a XXL man is all there! I spent my entire career in the clothing manufacturing business and have been buying from Atlantic Rancher since the '90's. My latest purchases have been three hoodies, a Salt-Farm Jacket and a wool vest. The style of the garments is well thought out and quite functional. The fabrics are exceptional and are well suited for their intended use. The sewing and construction of the garments is excellent.

I have been searching for a fall/winter jacket like the Outlaw Gunner Jacket for several years!!! The quality of the jacket is excellent. I love the two front pockets which provide a ton of room for many items I need to carry-smart phone, ear buds, pens, pocket knives. Most importantly the jacket has kept me warm when temps have dipped below freezing. The jacket is extremely comfortable to wear as the cut of the jacket is broad around the shoulders and chest areas. I also like the cotton-nylon ribbed cuffs Customer service is great as I had a couple of questions about the Outlaw Gunner jacket and e-mailed the company. Within the hour the owner of the company e-mailed me back!!! I would highly recommend recommend this jacket. One of the most comfortable jackets I have owned!!!

This is a thick and thirsty, all cotton fleece with a great, practical roomy fit. Classic 1/4 zip w collar that is more utility than previous. Pretty sure I’ll be taking this one to my grave.

Everything about the shirt is awesome. The cloth, the cut , and the pattern are great thus making it my current favorite flannel !

I purchased two pairs of the Atlantic Ranchers dock khakis pants and shorts and I liked them so much I purchased a second set. The quality of the pants and weirdly enough the zipper is amazing.

I have a closet full of vests, including a bunch of excellent Filson versions. This vest is quickly becoming my favorite. It is comfortable, high quality and well designed. I will wear it proudly and tell others about where I got this excellent piece of kit.
